It's that time, have I done an acceptable job so far, and should I move us out of transition into full blown org?
The is no "abstain" on this one intentionally.

I've no problem with the extension as long as you wish to keep doing it.

Just for fairness, I'd suggest going through the full nomination and election process at this juncture. The interim period is over, so it's time for the first proper arbiter to be elected, not time to give Quiz a free ride to a full term. There are times where red tape is worthless and times where procedures should be followed. I think that [re]electing the first full-term arbiter is one of those places where it would really be proper to go through the motions.
That's not to say I have a problem with Quiz. He's doing a fine job, but what's the point of setting up a system of elections if we're going to bypass it? It's bad precedent, bad symbolism, and a poor image to project to outsiders.

Blue: Because when we set this up, we said "Let's affirm with a vote whether the arbiter should carry to full term"
But everyone is capable of looking bac on that thread
On that note, post a thread, nominate some possible replacements

Full term as in how long? 6 months? Nine? A year? Forever? Definately not forever, even tough I have nothing against Quiz, he is great. But just because we have Quiz here now doesn't mean we shouldn't get rid of the elections when someday we may need it.

I'd read the earlier arbiter posts for the term descriptions.
It's been 3 months, the trial period is over, if folks want to redo general elections then we can go back to the nomination bit.
I don't believe anywhere in my post did I say "King for Life"
-edit-
My apologies, i don;t see the term length set out anywhere. I had it stuck in my head that it was a year and we had already decided that.
Let me close this one and start over. My bad.

Well, I didn't really think you wanted it forever, it was kind of an extreme example there. But a year is a pretty long time too. Thats a seventh of the entire time since SSC started.

Guess it doesn't hurt to leave this up, and just apply the results to the term length.
