Seems to be the anime of 2007.
It was going to be Death Note, but then they went to some pointless places with about 12 episodes off the end, while Claymore is still rocking out hard.
Vampire Tit Witches From Hell, doesn't get any better than that.
Well... there's also the interesting story and very good strong female characters (main characters to boot) which might be the reason I like it.
It's a definite must see so far.

Hmm, I'd only gotten to episode 3 so far. Guess there's just that much more to look forward to

[WoW] This type of games should be up dated as soon as possible. Because there are many people that ere very found of such games. As these are very help full for make the brain power full and strong. So, mentaly strongness is the need of this presant era.

Finished this and have to say thx for recommending it.
Really enjoyed the series from start to finish.
*spoiler alert*
Its a really cool notion that adds spice to the plot, that all of the main 'heroes/heroins' are inevitably going to succumb to their inner demons.

Just finished it myself. Curse BD for recommending back to back good series. I've lost sleep and my grades are slipping
*exerts self control*
The action scenes were good, though I wasn't a big fan of super speed fighting near the end of the anime. I want to see them fight, not see blurry hands that go "whomp pow this is DBZ".
The Raki kid was annoying to me. I can see that he provided a human anchor for Clare, but the script was just too much of a crybaby.
*SPOILER ALERT*
Definitely enjoyed the story. I thought it was mediocre at the beginning due to the old demon vs. human vs. half/half. But the author made good use of the organization and I suppose the liberties he took with chopping body parts off gave a shock factor that I wasn't used it.
END ALERT
I'm guessing the anime doesn't really end where the manga is right? I see 27 volumes ongoing for the manga so I'm assuming that there's more to the story?

Well the manga goes on past what the anime shows.SL33PY wrote: I wonder if there will be a next season or not?
In usual fashion, the anime twists the story a bit at the end, so I doubt there'll be another season unless the manga generates some more popularity.

I just discovered this recently, by accident really. I read a review on it in Play Magazine that raved about it, but I typically don't get into fantasy Anime's all that much unless its got some killer story elements. But there have been a few that I have really enjoyed, like Berserk for example. Anyway, Comcast's OnDemand service recently started offering Claymore so I decided to give it a go, and I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Very few have made me want to go to the store right away and buy the entire series. The idea of genetically created super soldiers are not a new idea, but the way they present the Claymores as a necessary evil and how they always seem to have their numbers replenished so readily is interesting.
So far it is my top Anime of 2009.01000101011100110110001101101000011001010111011100100000011011110110001001
