The pointy hat actually isn't that bad. Makes your head look bigger 
OH! btw, when you get close to 30ish (I know, not in the game to be a lvl monkey, but it will probably happen at somepoint), make sure you do the quests to get your race specific gear (RES). *drools* The point of the RES is to make up for those things that your are naturally weak in. So Galka get this amazing set of mp, MND and INT increasing gear. A lot of galka mages wear their RES or pieces of it up to the point where they get their AF.

Yeah, I was a bit dissapointed that I couldn't equip a hairpin or something, but the hood, the hood makes the mage

yeah I like to hood. I think I will get a combat caster's cloak when I get to 40, just so I can look like all the "actual" Taru war warlocks (the little white and blue tunics).Blarghl.
