Another game engine with a really messed up perspective. 'tis a shame, the content doesn't even seem that bad, but I can't bear looking at the heavy distortion at the screen edges.

No idea actually. Probably.
You can look on the POL site at http://www.playonline.com/
QD plays it, he may have a clearer answer.

You forgot to remind us how much the Freespace game engine is so much better then every other game engine that ever existed.Lightspeed wrote:Another game engine with a really messed up perspective. All kidding aside...I don't think I'd wanna mess with that guy!
Currently Playing(not 100% accurate): Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2 demo, MGS3, Shadow of the Colossus. (apparently I'm having a PS2 month)

Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

It's kinda lonely being a casual player
Everyone wants to level, level, level. And all I want to do is look around and take my time.
Sucks to be me

Well, with FS2open, you can INDIVIDUALLY set your FOV so your perspective is exactly the way you want it. Nifty, eh?

Totally unrelated to the discussion, but related to the topic:
I found lillies!! Which I was pretty excited about since they are my RL namesake :
~Stopping to smell the flowers~
(shortly after this picture, that bit thing in the background killed me dead )
