Yeah, I know it's been posted in the recomendations topic. It's been on my list of "to check out" for quite a while now. Finally got around to it, and am currently at episode 20. I must say I'm enjoying it quite thoroughly so far. It can get a little slow in some parts. That or I just get used to the rest of it being quite fast paced, and get impatient  .

Anyway, thought I'd spout off about it for a minute and spam this forum. *has the theme song stuck in his head* Soundtrack is pretty good as well ^,^

It really starts going places at about 40ish. That's when it starts to surpass Naruto.

Pretty much the best shonen anime playing right now.

Also, Ichirin no Hana rules all OP's (you'll know when you come to 52-53).

Finally hit episode 64 a few nights ago, really good watch.

Even with the obsessively long staredowns and rinse and repeat fights, it's still a great series, with a wealth of good characters.

Something to do with a semi-decent quality encoding/translation fansub release plus a streamed video. If you want a better quality, get the releases from a good fansubbing group's website. Although Bleach isn't liscenced atm, I doubt I'd be allowed to post any of the particulars on who/where/etc. here. We'll exchange PMs if you wish to know.

Though, the site you linked isn't all that bad and it's quite simple. I'm just a perfectionist is all

Yea i just did a mass catch up fest, the anime did such a great job of taking
everything that was great about manga and in some cases even being
slightly better.

it could of went horribly wrong like the berzerk anime did lol.

Only thing i have a problem with, is god i wish they would just stop instead of
making these damn fillers, then make a season 2 6 months later....look what
happened with Rurouni Kenshin, people stopped watching it and the damn
Revenge Arc from the manga never got animated....ok i will stfu now

Just seen Episode 71 and 72 now. Starting to lose the Bleach feeling on this anime now. Miss the Soul Society story. Starting to get more and more feeling that this is Full Metal Alchemist. Anyone agree?

Couldn't say, I've only seen up to the hour long 68 so far. Doesn't help much that it's just been licensed >.< ah well, patience is a virtue I hear.

All fillers after Soul Society so far. I'm gonna wait until they finish with fillers and then marathon it in one sitting. ;D

Hrmm, yeah. Someone mentioned in another thread about fillers == lazy artists.. either I'm watching a poor encode or its true. The artwork seems to have declined recently. Also getting a bit tired of the frequent "introduce as a possible enemy, then switch to neutral/ally" thing they keep doing over and over.

I still like the show, of course. The past few eps (72-74) have just left me a bit annoyed is all. Also think it's interesting that with all Ichigo went through with Zangetsu in soul society, he's still not conversing with it. Especially with regard to his recent problem using the sword. Maybe that'll be later, but I think it leaves his character a bit too shallow.

It's like watching the characters devolve right before your eyes. Maybe the writers are just getting lazy too.

It's explained later on why Zangetsu's not showing up (if you really need to know, read the manga) ^_^

The series gets good again after this darn fillers go away. Same with Naruto.

Oh, I expected they would. I'm just annoyed that they have him not even bother with trying to find out why yet. Learn lesson A, forget lesson A to further the storyline, learn lesson A again, forget lesson A to further storyline, rinse, repeat.

Long time since I last post here =) ah well ..

I m currently at all the filler episodes (round the Bountou bit )
And I was wondering ; Who do you find the most annoying character in the bleach series ^^?

Mine has to be RinRin =< , simply for her stupid laugh in the kidnapping episodes and then her being not as bad as we thought she was and then she turns out to have more annoying bits than just that stupid laugh :|

Was holding off watching this for a LONG time,
but finally got around to it and really dig it.

Have just caught up to the most recent (epi 137) which aired the 22nd in Japan.
So far the series is spot on (except for the lame filler epi's).

There are only 2 OVA's and a movie as well right? Make sure I am not missing something. Tho I heard another movie will be released this Dec.

Used to love it, but it's really been going the DBZ route recently. I used to think Naruto did that, but the mangaka took a step back and changed things up by skipping 3 years (at least Naruto's creative with their abilities).

It seems every battle in Bleach is now Clash! Bankai! Mask mode!

Clash! SS1! SS2!

At least they've got the Quincy to give a little flavor...

That's because the current ones are filler.

Filler = stuff not in manga.

Naruto's first season only lasted 135 episodes. The extra 100 ones were just crap that was put in to get the ratings without the content (alternative is to stop airing for a speciifc amount of time).

Same thing's going on with Bleach right now. Anime's getting too close to the manga, so they put in filler crap.

That whole Bount arc was filler as well.

These episodes are known as "I don't watch that".

I have to say Memories of Nobody (the movie) was pretty damn good as well.

Predictable, as you'd imagine, but still fairly well done for what it is limited to being. I also like Sen No Yoru wo Koete, the ending theme, so that's a plus for me.

Its funny you mention the movie, cuz I just seen it the night before last.
Its pretty solid and was a nice change from the show of late.

The show still rocks, but is draggin along painfully slow atm, wish they would release a new epi a couple times a week or somethin...
Waiting a week just too see a WHOLE epi dedicated to saying goodbye... :smack:

Just when you think the fillers will stop and you will get back to the action, nope wait another week and we shall see ><
