New Gundam Seed Destiny Opening (OP4). Your thoughts?

I was surprised to say the least. While listening to it, the image of Sailor Moon kept popping in my mind :weird: . I guess I'm too used to the fast paced music / beat from almost every previous opening to every previous Gundam show. It's good that the directors are trying something new, but I wonder how many of them really thought that this was the "best" choice...

Edit: Ah... Damn. I've got the opening song stuck in my head now :smack:

I've had the full song for a week, so I had time to get used to it before I saw it with the OP.

This one fits really. It all ends in twelve weeks.

Destiny picks up from where SEED ended about two or four years after.

Athrun is Cagali's bodyguard, Kira is stashed away with Lacus in that orphanage (SEED had an OVA, so that's where they are), ZAFT has a new chairman Gilbert Dullandal, and the story starts with three new ZAFT Gundams - Chaos, Abyss, Gaia being stolen by three... kids.

Bascially it's going to be a finish for the SEED universe. Gundam SEED didn't really _end_ it, but Destiny will.

How is it? Just like SEED heh. Just better animation, music is still kick-ass, etc.

Current episode is 38. 12 more and that's it :(

Heh, marathoning does wonders for my health :nervous:

I watched all of Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, an emotional rollercoaster anime (drama, some comedy to ease off the drama, but real good) in one day. Had me depressed for a month or so.

The new song for the OP suits what the OP shows, but I guess I was more in the mood for another up beat song (another TM Revolution maybe?).

And speaking of Destiny...
*SLIGHT SPOILER*

When the hell is Athrun going super saiyan ;D ? He's gotten owned by both Kira and Shinn. Something tells me the next ep will pick up with both Athrun and Kira.

I know what happens in the coming episodes so I won't say much about it.

Though the SEED mode is connected with one's resolve. Athrun didn't really know where to go since the start.

When he finds his way, he'll nutcrack and own everything.

I read the specs for Infinite Justice. It'll be one hell of a ride :)

/agrees

I did that, lol, and it had the same effect on me :P . What's worse is I followed it up with saikano o.0 . Noo, I swear I'm not a masochist. .. much :smack:

I've been holding out for my fav group to finish with Seed before I start on Destiny *sigh*. Might just have to bite the bullet and watch a finished encode, then start on the Destiny universe.

But I like the DVD encodes. They're worth keeping, and I don't like deleting stuff that took hours++ to download

Hehe. I saw Saikano a few months after KGNE. From what everyone told me at the time, I had a "mental depression" block in place so I wouldn't get too depressed. Saikano was a good anime though, even though it had a constantly depressing story to it.
