I didn't have any problems installing. Everything is working well, so far...

I'm still enjoying the game even though it's just the Terran campaign. Brings back memories playing the first game :)

Installed last night and played the first 3 or 4 missions. The cut-scenes are really well done, the game play is just like the original and easy to slide right into, the graphics are great, and the ability to go back and play each mission on different settings for achievement points is a real plus. I am also really enjoying the soundtrack and all the little bits that produce depth to the story and characters when in places like JoeyRay's or the Hyperion. Also nice that Tychus is back. :thumb:

Finished it.

Didn't see the end coming.
I thought for sure Tychus was gonna off her. Because it would be an interesting plot twist (after seeing the end of the protoss), to see how they all fight the Xel'Naga or the Void Monster or the Hybrids or whatever the hell, even with her dead. I expected Zeratul would warn Raynor, and just at the last second when all is well and good and seems promising, she bites it anyway. Tychus was also built up for the whole game as the backstabbing infiltrator, so for such an entire-game buildup, I sure didn't see it not panning out.

On the other hand I do get it. When you take control of the Zerg in the next expansion, it'd be hard to sell the game if Kerrigan remained who she was (and who the hell would lead the Zerg if she died in Wings). No goals that offer anything tangible that the player can relate to, just some female monster roaming about. Assuming she's with the Terrans now, playing as the Zerg allied with Terrans or something similar would make the story more involving. The "HO HO HO I AM THE QUEEN BITCH OF THE UNIVERSE" got old in Brood War.
Good game. Hope the expansions are quick.

Excellent game, can't wait for next part of the story to be released.

I thought it would end slightly different as well.
You could see Tychus betrayal coming a mile away,
but I figured it would evolve in to an epic last minute struggle
between weighing his own personal survival versus his loyalty to his friend
and in turn he would end up deciding to sacrifice his life and save everyone
going out in a blaze of apocalyptic fury (as was his personality)

Actually:
I think that flashing light from his HUD mean that he was gonna get shut down any damned way. I mean really, did you think Mengsk was just gonna let stuff slide? Newp. I think Tycus knew this, and decided to go out fightin. Better to die like you lived... On a second and totally unrelated note, Gen. Warfield is the baddest ass mofo I have ever seen. When the bayonet came out, I was reminded of a scene in the beginning of Macross Plus. Then he had his arm lopped off to be replaced with... for lack of a better term, Megatron's Fusion Cannon?! He gets my vote for baddest black dude. Sorry Sgt Johnson.

What it all comes down to is upgrading your CC so that you can start producing mules ASAP. 50 energy and they harvest much much more than the SVCs do and last 90 seconds. Then you start mass producing units and rush the opponent before they can do the same.

Yeah, that's probably good enough to land you into the silver league, provided he even wants to play Terran.

Sigh. Determined to play through single player on Brutal all the way... Getting a little tired of replaying each map 3+ times though...

Did a 2v2 with a bud of mine. Totally got dominated (it didn't help that I spent half my forces saving his base from Reapers).

Thanks for the strats link BD. Time to go commit my new build order to muscle memory.

Come on people, join me. Few reasons :

1. I can wipe your sorry arse all over the floor in multiplayer.
2. We can play as a team and have fun.
3. We can learn together and find new friends.

I've already given my ID number. :smack:

Or 4. You can't be bothered.

Here's a story for you. :D

I invited friends on another forum to join me online playing Starcraft 2. This one guy (who is a big-headed, big-mouth, gas-bag) said he's getting his so he's looking forward to having a skirmish with me so he can show me who's boss. Naturally and honestly, I told him no problem, just look me up online. I also told him that is what others say before I give them a beating, even if it's a 2vs1. He said I had a big mouth and said some rude remarks. I got angry and blasted him (although I knew his attitude) and he told me to cool down, he was just joking. :weird:

A few days later he said he got his, completed the campaign but couldn't play online and asked if I got mine and if it works online. I told him I got mine the day it was released and asked if his was pirated. He admitted it and this is where I blasted him again. I told him pirated copies can't connect to Battle.Net so multiplayer won't work. And I quote "This is me not talking big but next time, before you challenge someone, make sure you grow some balls first, don't be a cheapskate and get the original copy. When you've done that, you know where to find me." :thumb:

Lesson to learn : Do not piss me off because I always have the last laugh and when I have it, you are gonna look real bad and stupid. :p

Ok, you guys have things like name.name.

When I want to add someone it is asking for an email address or charactername/code.

huh?

Email is the email you used to register the Battle.Net account. Character name is the name of your Battle.Net account and character code is the number ID for your character which can be found by moving your cursor over your profile picture.

name.name was the way battlenet identified during the beta.

Not anymore since they implemented Real ID.

So how do we hook up now? Just use name and ID?
